Head washers 92022-215

#1 PostAuthor: Richard Q » Sat Nov 29, 2014 10:26 pm

My parts manual says these washers, under the cylinder head nuts are, "Plain Washers." The ones on my bike, are 1.5mm thick copper washers.

I have found some for sale at £33.00 a set for a Z1, or £4.00 for just 1.2mm thick copper washers. Is there something special about these washers, or can I use any copper ones?

Nothing special about them , just an odd size .
You only need a copper washer under the outer 4 nuts .

Thanks for that, the parts manual says they are 12 of them. Do the inner ones have steel washers or no washers?

You get a pack of 20 here for £4.00. 20 off- 22.3mm O/D X 11mm I/D X 1.2mm Thk. 1.2mm instead of 1.5mm, but I don't think that would cause much of a problem.
