Does anyone know if there is such a thing available as a switchgear internals repair kit for the z1000 a3/a4 ?

Ed, the starter button packed up. On stripping the switch I found the non metalic insulator that surrounds the starter button contacts had fallen apart in places allowing the contacts to short out against each other. It's basically just the piece that the wires attatch to that requires replacing. Everything else is fine.

Rich, thats the one. I might take you up on your offer but as I'm not great with electrics and small fiddly bits I'll wait and see if I can find a replacement switch or internals. I'd guess its about 2-3mm thick and probably approx 10mm by 10mm squareish.
