Just thought this might be a usefull guide (we get lots of questions on this)
figures show mph at different rpm depending on which gear ratio is used. The speeds are for a 17" wheel with a 180/55 tyre

simples Pigford,
conversion for us 'old skool' using a 630 chain set up
.......... is to fit a 530, its lighter, stronger, less expensive, more readily available and provides better clearance. :wink:
