Took it around the block yesterday...................... 'Kin ell.... It's taken me 24hrs to stop clenching me arse cheeks!
It goes like fecketty feck............. it stops like an oil tanker :( Those brakes are dire to say the least. I don't know if it's cos I'm spoiled with the stoppers on me 'muncher' or if the pads are oily or what. I certainly dont remember the brakes on my first Z1000 (15 years ago) being that bad.
Anyhow, that's had me looking on Ebay at front ends.............mmmm, still don't know where I'm going to go with this, but time will tell.
Just gonna go & finish fitting me new seat cover, I will report back later.

Quick update.
Seat cover is pants. It is a 'tailored' job from ebay

I won't buy one of these again. Had it in the sunshine to get it all flexy, but it's not right. I have now ordered another from a local bike shop. Hope this one is better quality.
The other news is I won this pile of bits on ebay for £20.00 :D

There are some useful parts in here. Starter solonoid, IC Ignighter, tank display + loads more.
I am struggling with time to do much with this at the moment. I really want to get my Z1000 sorted for the ACE.
