Hi , I can only find Z1 a&b Piston dimensions in my Clymer manuals
Standard= 38.115 to 38.148mm (service limit 38.105mm )

Thanks Johny B, thats a good start.... Funnily enough I've found a set with bleed screws on the side (meaning they were for calipers mounted behind front forks) that are 38.15mm dia . So perhaps the Z1000 A2 has this dimension also.

Just checked out my mates Z1000 A1 " Factory " work-shop manual .
It states.... Front & Rear caliper piston dimensions are exactly the same :
Piston O/D = 42.788mm - 42.880mm (Service limit= 42.75mm )

Gent's here is a pretty definitive answer to my queries...........

Z1 Z1A Z1B - 43mm X 34mm.

Z900A4 Z1000A1 and KZ - 43 X 40.

Z1000A2 Z1R D1 and KZ - 38 X 40.

Z1R D2 D3 and KZ - 43 X 41.

REAR Z1000A1 A2 Z1R D1 - 43 X 22.

REAR Z1R D2 D3 - 43 X ??

ps interesting to note Kawasaki round of to the nearest lower number - 42mm, all listing outside Kawasaki round of other side - 43mm.

pss interesting to note some listings on FleaBaYe/online have many incorrect sizes.
