Going slowly at the moment  Fitted battery box & electrics. Coz I've swapped me bare Z900LTD frame for the Z1000A1 frame, some of the fittings are different. The battery box does fit OK on the front mounting plate, linked to the engine mount, bit has no fixings nearest the rear wheel.
I have fitted a couple of 'rubbers' (snigger) and it rests snuggly on the frame close to the rear inner fender.
Note: I'm still thinking about fitting the standard seat :?: :?:

As I'm gonna fit lower bars I had to strip switchgear electrics off the standard bars. To my horror I realised the switchgear cable is routed through the handlebars, to conceal the wires
It took a good half an hour, but I managed to get the cable out, damage free  The standard bars are slightly bent anyhow
Next hassle was trying to fit the switchgear to the non-standard bars :!:
Coz the original bars have holes for the cables, the switchgear housings sit flush alround on the bars. As they do NOT have cut outs for the cable to pass through, I had to use me DREMEL to cut out slots for the cable.
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Jack, ironing may be more interesting than bikes to you, but in my book, laundering always takes second place to me Kawasaki's. :splat2

When he's been a naughty little Piggy, such as buying bikes without consulting his good lady wife or not washing behind his ears, the old Minister of War (Wife) makes him do the ironing for a few weeks.

LC if he had just bought a CB9/11 he would not have to buy any other bikes, then he would not have to do the ironing so often and then be able to go out and enjoy his CB9/11.
