Has anyone made an adjustable torque arm for a Z1000
Wanted to fit my marzocchi shockers with the piggy back at the swinging arm- facing towards the rear but the rear calliper torque arm fixing is in the way so I was considering putting a longer torque arm in to get round the problem?

the caliper - Bembo P108 ( has same centres as AP C2696 which the hanger was made for) was bought from

As promised, details of my 'Toast Rack' torque arm.
Bought a length of 3/4" aluminium bar, turned some of the excess from the middle, leaving plenty of meat at the ends. Drilled & tapped M12 thread each end to suit M12 Rose joints. (Both R/H thread, so cannot be adjusted on the bike.)
I used M12 joints, as the mounts on the swinger & caliper are both 12mm.
Gotta say though, I do like Adrians solution, pretty much "plug 'n play" and no machining...... In fact, I'm off to have a little browse in that sellers shop.

I have the same swingarm/shock setup on my Z650, although I prefer the shock reservoirs facing forwards.
I used an aftermarket GSF1200 stainless torque arm on mine. That was longer than the stock and nasty looking stock torque arm.
