The last time I needed some of those, Kawasaki listed them at about ?30 a throw - The local motorcycle spares shop did me some Michelin ones at about ?8!

Seen 'em at lots of Auto jumbles, Staffs, Shepton, etc.
I think they're readily available from MX (motocross) shops :??
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Bedlow1, I haven't heard these mentioned for ages! I understand they are not know required, if you are using modern tyres. So this presents a problem when restoring rims with the holes already made for them....... Do you put a couple of dummy threaded pieces in the rim, or do you double up on the rim tape, so as to avoid the rim tape "bubbling-up" and out!

Pigford, perhaps if you remember that the subject has been fully discussed before on this site, you may rememer approx date or page where to find it? If not, maybe, you will recall some valuble snippits of info.

Garn1, you must be same as me old bean, not good at recall, but you could always do a 'Search', which is freely available to one & all
I've used plastic number plate bolts to seal the holes in the rims quite successfully :!:

Bedlow's driving down to his villa in Spain right now... lucky sxd. He needs a pair for "correctness"!! :D Not sure his new British rims have the exta holes in the rear though! I bet he's forgotten about that.
