What finish on exhaust baffles
Just got my exhaust back from refurb and was wondering what is the correct finish for the visible end of the baffle including the retaining nut and bolt was please? Also nut and bolt size would be helpful , cheers g
G, the baffles are usually left "black" unprotected and they are usually painted in-situ, on the visible part, once they are assembled into muffler pipe.
I recall having to remove this silver paint (probably heat resistant) from the internal part of the pipe, so that the baffle will slide out, once the 6mm retaining bolt is removed.
