As usual it's a 1983 z100 elr
There are two breathers coming from the petrol tank. Would i be right in thinking they connect up to the carbs. There are two t pieces between the carbs 1and 2 and again between 3 and 4. That where they seem to go.
Cheers
Chris

Fuel Tank Breathers
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Assuming the pertol feed/s are connected, the central tee pieces between 1-2 & 3-4 carbs are not usually connected to anything, I think they're just breathers or overflows
Ed or Jack will give an accurate answer, as MKII's ain't my speciality. Some bikes have a link pipe underneath, from one side of tank to other so fuel don't get trapped other side of tank, away from tap.

And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

From the fuel tap there should be 2 hoses. One is the vacuum pipe for the tap and the other is the fuel pipe. That is if you've got a std. Kawasaki fuel tap.

Vac pipe goes to the carb where you fit vac guages . Each carb has a take off point for guages , one to fuel tap and three with rubber plugs . If one is open too much air is sucked in by this carb and bike will run crap . Pipe from sender does not fit to any thing but runs to fresh air between swing arm and rear of engine .
