seat catch conversion

i have a z1 repro seat that i need to fit the 900a4 type instead of the post type, i was hoping that there would be obvious indications as to where the new holes need to be drilled. anyone done this and found an easy way of marking out for drilling?

got fed up waiting for an answer so had a go and sorted with some double sided foam tape

Bloody hell wayno....... Patience obviously ain't your thing.

I am in the middle of doing exactly the same conversion. If you can wit 'til the weekend I'll post some pic's.

I don't think double sided tape will last long, but will work well to get it all lined up. :??

yeah that worked well to get it lined up, now drilled and tapped and fitted. the u shaped catch has a broken leg so need to get or make another then jobs a good un
