I went ceramic, for both aesthetic loveliness & durability.
The pipes I had were mild steel & all the exhaust paint I'd seen is generally matt.
Pipes were finished with a ceramic 'clearcoat'. Still looked good when I sadly had to sell the thing, although the headers had lost a bit of shine, but I put that down to the 14 arse clenching dyno runs it had with Ray & Steve Debben.
Camcoat will coat the insides too, which I believe will help performance & durability. They'll probably be at Stafford & in the past I know you could deliver your pipes to 'em at the show & have 'em couriered back, but I'd call 'em first to check.
