coil mod

hi all having problems with mod wired up as per instructions but with kill switch in off i'am getting power and when in run there is no power,
I have electronic ignition boyer bronsden not dyna s.do I have to some thing
to that,only getting 9.46 at coils before.

what colour wire from the kill switch have you connected to terminal 86 of the relay?

put the wire to the yellow wire from one of the coils.

is the other coil still connected to the yellow/red wire ?

hi no main wire disconnected,and new wire to 87 is connected

85 on the relay should be earth + 30 should positive fuse protected

disconnect the yellow/red from the relay + see if you lose the 12v feed from this wire when you turn the kill switch of

I have sorted it out now,it was the 5 pin relay for some reason pin 87a was allways live,put 4 pin relay on now all is working as it should.

5 pin relays are normally "changeover" units they have a common, normally open and normally closed and two connections for the coil
