Looks as though the dream of riding the shafter might be reality :D CB will be riding her 'new' A4

We'll be leaving Pensford at approx 7:30am and riding down the A4 to Reading before taking a skip down the hated M'way for a few junctions.

Having found a bit of a problem with the Z which needs to be sorted before any long trips and the other bike needing its first 600 miles service I wont make the Ace .

Good luck with the Zed Jon. Just put a new battery on the ELR and fitted a JMC arm which has brought the ride height up even more with the piggy back Ohlins resulting in better handling and faster steering :D Will message you at the end of the week to see how your'e getting on. Cheers Nick.

Hope the Gpz is fixed - if you're coming in on the A40, could meet up at the BP garage on the Wolvercote roundabout (with the big BMW dealership).

Also, for Jon/Nick coming in from Gloucester - its about an hour from Longlevens, Glos at a steady pace with not much traffic (say 60-70)

I'll plan on being there from 8:15am, until 8:30am - its about an hour from here to the Ace

Look forward to seeing all 3 of you there :D

So GPz has passed it's MOT but we have a new problem. Profile on a road tyre is taller than a race tyre and the rear rubs the swinging arm when it's at temperature. Obviously not good! Best option is a new sprocket with one tooth less which will allow the wheel to move back with extra chain slack and not too much impact on gearing. All hopes resting on B&C Express or Ace looking doubtful. I just would not feel right on a KTM Superduke.
