No worries! it's not hard anodising on these items, only a decorative coating which is sealed to resist corrosion.
Athough the actual components are hardened aluminium.

Done the deed and stripped the discs.
Also scored an XJR1300 front muddy on ebay which arrived today and will need some trimming and brackets make it fit

Bit more progress.
Painted the rear caliper mount and got it all finished and fitted .

This allowed me to fit the footrests, hoses and bleed the brake.
Bulky reservoir will probably be replaced by a short length of clear hose.Image

Other side got new sprocket studs and nuts and is ready for chain fitment.

Front end got the bars fitted and controls . R1 starter/kill switch now serves as Horn and kill.

The bars were stripped of the gunmetal and repainted black.

All this means i can junk the wooden stand and it's now capable of standing on it's own two wheels .
