The down tube is not bent as I put a straight edge along it.
All of the engine mounting bolts and plates are from the LTD
Any thoughts?
Make a new bracket?

if so..loosen them all off so the engine can be jiggled.
They weren't made to very good tolerences in those days and 30 years of a flexi frame...( I know I've held onto the bars like a rag doll on more than one occasion) may well have taken it's toll.
