Age related plate

Hi thinking of buying a bike on a Q plate. is it easy to get a age related plate,
bike is a 1975 model.

I bought one on a Q plate and a letter from Dave Marsden sorted it :)

As long as the inspectors can see the frame number, and the bike looks like the bike was originally supposed to look like, it's a bit of hassle, but can be done, I've done it about two weeks ago.
What we got here, is failure to comunicate.

Personally, I'D KEEP AWAY FROM ANYTHING Q PLATED.

Q plate means ID issues. If the ID wasn't dodgy it wouldn't have been given a Q plate to start with????

A Q plate ANYTHING to me is worth 30 quid!!!

Thanks for all the input. forgot to mention that the reason it was on a Q was
because the bike was imported many years ago, do's this change anyone' opinions.

Go for it if you think it's going to be OK.

You need to ask why the current owner and previous owners NEVER got it changed to make it more valuable???

As mentioned earlier, I'd walk away, unless I was going to buy it to break.
