I have got rid of the workbench,the garage floor is far better to work on!!! :idea:
I've just got to put a bit of metal filler in one or two places that didn't have quite enough weld ,then a good clean and resprayed,once it's back on the bike i don't think it will look too bad.

That looks a good job, well done! Also a lesson as TLC says, I recently took my engine out and after reading this I put a tyre underneath just incase.

I have a Z900 cylinder head spare. It is in excellent condition around the park plug holes no cracks. It has only one fault and thats a piece of fin missing on cylinder 2 so a longer bit of studding is needed. Not really noticible except with close inspection.
