early z1 switch assembly
ive just bought a z1a right hand switch block off ebay. it has no buttons or switches on it. do the buttons and switches off the z1b fit straight on

Don't be too fast in fitting Z1B "guts" into the Z1/early Z1A handle-bar control switches. I have an idea you get caught with the starter button fibre contact plate, as well as the solder joints as mentioned above.... Let's know how you go? I will be interested to know, as I have a few early RHS switches in need of innings (guts).

Have you confirmed that the right-hand side, new patterned Z1B innings will fit into early Z1 switch-block cases. I understand there is soldering and re-soldering involved. As mentioned before, I'm concerned about that starter button.
Any further comment(s) would be appreciated.

sorry Garn, i havent been in a zed frame of mind for a while, bit like Monk, fell out of love with it after it let me down a bit. now i have a van, ive just popped it back in the barn. i need to reaquaint myself with the Z.
