Yes they fit, i used a new pattern Z1B switch removed the switch casings and fitted the switches and wiring in to my Z1 casings, but you have to un- solder and re-solder the kill switch

Don't be too fast in fitting Z1B "guts" into the Z1/early Z1A handle-bar control switches. I have an idea you get caught with the starter button fibre contact plate, as well as the solder joints as mentioned above.... Let's know how you go? I will be interested to know, as I have a few early RHS switches in need of innings (guts).

MickZ1A & C Martin, before this thread disappears into oblivion...
Have you confirmed that the right-hand side, new patterned Z1B innings will fit into early Z1 switch-block cases. I understand there is soldering and re-soldering involved. As mentioned before, I'm concerned about that starter button.
Any further comment(s) would be appreciated.

Maybe, I will pose an answer to my queries..., I know you guys are busy.
Let me say, I don't think you can interchange a Z1B RHS h'bar switch into a Z1 RHS switch cases! Correct me if you have an answer!
