Z1 pattern sidepanel fixing

#1 PostAuthor: garybrez » Sun Oct 06, 2013 7:41 pm

Anyone help .... I have pattern sidepanels on my 1975 Z1 .. these are the type with drilled screw holes ( not lugs ) .... so instead of push fit into rubber dampers I will need to somehow screw into the rubber dampers ... any ideas ???

A root through a bike breakers scrap bin will unearth some knackered bodywork off 16 year old kids scooters .
There are your lugs which once drilled and tapped will push into the frame mounting rubber grommets .
