Borrow only - J/R/GPz valve clearance (shim) tool 57001-113

#1 PostAuthor: Big Fluff » Fri Mar 21, 2014 9:44 am

Can anyone loan me the above valve clearance tool for the J/R/GPz range.
The club only has the tool 57001-109 for the round shape head and I will need to adjust the valve clearances on my ELR rep next week after it's bed in/settled down.

I will make a new tool using the loaned one as a template and post a fully detailed drawing on the forum like I did for the early type.
I donated about 50 shims to the club a couple of years ago.

Many thanks, Will

OK let me clarify.
It is a standard J/R/GPz head with shim on top.
I already have the factory tool for the Z1/A/B/900/1000A1/2. This will not fit around the outside of the cyl head so I cant hold the folllower.
Obviously there must be some difference otherwise Kawasaki wouldn't quote a different tool would they :?:
