I need a bit of help to decide which direction to go.
As far as I can work out my Z1000 should have standard sprockets of 15 and 33. Have seen they can have a 17 front.
I am running a Fireblade back wheel, which alone changes the gearing due to the size change.
Next problem the front sprocket needs to be off set by at least 1/4inch so I am running a 603 pitch GPZ750 51415 sprocket, 15 teeth, (only size I seem to be able to get.)
Rear sproket is a 38 tooth 603 pitch, not sure I will get much smaller due to chain run, maybe a couple of teeth.
I want to be able to have a reasonable speed without too high revs as I plan to do some long distance trips.
Standard sprocket ratio should be 2.2
My current ratio is 2.53 (too high)
Taking into account the change of wheel, what would people suggest as a good mix of sprockets.
As well as a source, any ideas on other front sprockets that might fit given the offset. Standard not expensive billet.
Been told with the pitch of chain the biggest front sprocket I may get away with is a 16.

Better to keep the front for 630 chain at 15. Is it for your Harris? mines running 15 / 31 : 70mph at 4250 revs : 80 at 5K with a race fairing. It's depends what the circumferance of the rear tyre is for the final gearing I run 160/60 * 17 rear.
Watch the chain catching the top of the swinger pivot you need a rubbing strip for it to ride on preferably.

THE OUTER CHAIN CASE COVER NEEDED A SMALL BIT OF FILING ON THE REAR EDGE WHERE THE CHAIN RUNS TO AVOID RUBBING. THE INNER GUARD PLATE CANNOT BE FITTED

16 Teeth
Now have a billet 16 tooth front sprocket, thanks to super quick delivery from Debben Performance, although at a price.
Worked out I had to go for a 16 front as I do not have enough room on the back to go down as far as 31 teeth.
If I can get down to a 35 on the back I should be in the right ball park. Should give me a ratio of 2.18 were as the standard is 2.2 I was on 2.53
Had to remove some of the cover as the chain does rub, as per comments above.
Will now be getting a rear sprocket made up, although not 100% sure what size yet. 35, 36
Might try for a similar ratio as Rich has, although would like to know what size sprokets you are running Pigford as I have a 180 on the back as well.
