Hi when removing the old z1 engine.Can anybody tell me which side it exit's from or will it come out of both sides ? thanks mark.

If you want to get it out with the frame upright whip the top end off coz it's the only way you can get hold of the thing and make it light enough to lift.

Alternativelylay the bike on its side, after removing all but teh front and rear bolts and lift teh frame off the engine.

Either way taking the cam cover off will help coz there is very little clearance.

Strip the lot lay the frame with the engine on its off side and lift the frame off the engine , loads easier.
