Kerker baffle

#1 PostAuthor: Robw » Sun Aug 02, 2009 7:06 pm

Hi, I am after a 2 or 2.5 inch comp kerker baffle, for a little bit of extra noise.
Does anybody now where I can one or does someone have one they are not going to use. I can swop for an unused standard one

Cheers Rob

About your baffle.

Don't take this the wrong way,why not just make one?

If you have the standard one why not just massage that into what you need?

regards

Rob, I got a race baffle in mine. It came from Kipkawa and cost about £40. To be honest they could be done under trades descriptions because it more of a sleeve to take the internal dimension of the tail pipe down. It certainly doesn't "silence" in anyway!! Made my old Harris appear quiet. Will be interesting to see what the MOT man has to say.

Street baffle is a bugger to remove as well.

Martin, cheers for that. I will email Alan. I am after a larger internal bore baffle, not too big, just enough to make me chortle. I can get one from America without any probs, I just thought that I would ask on here first.
If you have any problems with your pipe I have a spare silencer with normal baffle, you are welcome to borrow.

Wait and you´ll see, it gets louder by itsself...

My Kerker needed about two seasons for that. Finally it losts a piece - this small metal tube inseide the baffle - and got bit more tougher...

Cheers

Is that for an original Kerker or the later Supertrapp one?

John, sorry about the late reply, I have been in Wales working, it is for the later Supertrapp version.
