Just wondering if anyone could tell me the thread size of the screws that hold the float bowls on on A4 carbs as a few have stripped and I' m going to try helicoiling them ..

Geoff, it,s an easy job but one thing to be careful with is when drilling out not to let the drill run through as it can mark the body as the hole is so close, also on the ones I,ve done I put a little thread lock on the outside thread as it is such a short Helicoil, just as an insurance. If you don't have an M4 Helicoil set give me a shout when you're ready and I'll lend you mine.
