Just to add to the applause to Ralphy & CB...........
They did a spiffing job.... Cheers.....
I went home early evening Sat to try & persuade Mrs P to drive me back for the Band & Piss-up.... to no avail
Got grounded on my return... wings clipped.... especially as I plan to be out next Sunday at the Weston Zoyland sprint

southwest rally 31st july -2nd aug
many thans to ralph and marrion for all of the work they put in to making it a great weekend i think everybody had a great time even if they cant emember it all cheers noel
Top weekend and many thanks to Ralph & Marrion for organising the event. Meet some new faces and some of the regulars.
Some new events at this SW Z Rally like who can shag their "B&B Landlady", meet the most "Miserable Pub Landlady", Mike "Clive Cussler" managed to eat steak pie and chips twice and swear the most at the bar. I think he put enough money in that Air Ambulance box the buy a new helicopter !!!!
The ride out was superbly organised with Ralph's IAM tactics. Riding through Cheddar Gorge was really good with everyone looking at the procession of Zeds.
But Pigford you missed all the fun .....................................!

We, CB and myself, had a great, if a tad knackering, weekend.
Trust you all got home - I have checked on Mick and he did make it crashing though the box with no clutch
of course he wasn't effected by the night before
I can't deny it was hard work and a tad stressful, but hugely rewarding.
I was really worried about the rideout, but my IAM club's system worked a treat
Oddly they were on a rideout going the other way just outside Cheddar.
As has already been mentioned the landlady wasn't erm .... but we had a great time despite her view that using a spattering of Anglo Saxon vernacular is some what worse than being blatently rude to those pushing sterling into your purse by the shovelful. Even when I went to pay for the camping she gave me a look that suggested that I was in some way trying to get one over on her, rather than organising a whole bunch of great people to come and party at her establishment paying her a King's ransom for the privilege.
We were really chuffed that Sandi and Nigel came to visit - they didn't object to the odd swear word but really knew how to make us welcome - and the reaction from club members who had attended the first SW rally showed that their efforts weren't in vain ... anyone think I should invite Sally and Audrey to SW2010? .... thought not .... any votes for an alternative venue? CB says she wont step foot in the place again after the snub she received from Sally this morning
When I have some spare time I'll have a go at editing the video footage I shot on my el-cheapo camcorder
Thanks to all who supported our second rally ... I know it rained a bit on Saturday, but it didn't on Friday and it didn't today so in the words of that fat bastard yank ... two out of three ain't bad

I had an absolutely brilliant time, thanks a million Ralph and Marrion for a great rally.
Sorry i missed the ride out, rememberd i had to get back for Mrs Guyzed birthday party - not bad as her birthday was on Friday when i left to go to the rally (used up all my brownie points for that one)
As for the landlady i think she had a sence of humour bypass (miserable cow)

I would just like to say thanks to Ralph and Marion for organising this years event and for inviting me and Sandi along.
The reception we received when we arrived on Saturday evening was superb and totally unexpected and I think Sandi is still bruised from all the hugs she had. It felt good to know we were still remembered from last years event.
We didn't go a bundle on the band but fortunately didn't have to suffer it for long and I think we all gave a sigh of relief when the band left and Ralph plugged his ipod in.
Sandi and I are still bikeless but hope to have the situation rectified for next years event when we can join in properly with all the fun.
We hope you all had a good rideout on Sunday and we look forward to meeting everybody again in the near future.
