Hi all,
when I had the blue and white GS, I loved it, but never like the fairing, I personally think the z and gs are 2 very different bikes, from 2 different parts of the 70"s, the z is from the early part, and the GS later, I do think the z is a iconic looking bike, and fits that period, while the GS is in many peoples eyes plane in compariston, but is the style of that later period, and I love the way it looks, and I love and owned both

Yeah - have to admit - from that angle and in that colour it's still got a glimmer of the waspishness that the original Zeds have. Couldn't say the same about the silver/blue one though.
What the dear old GS lacks is design finesse: it just ain't right - particularly seat and tailpiece.
Now, interestingly enough, Suzi did get it right with the earlier GS750. Far more finesse and balance to that design. But when's the last time anyone saw one of them restored?
QUOTES
Katana in background does it for me.
I always hated them thought they looked to futuristic in there day but now i think they look really nice
isn't funny how things turn around over time, I rode a 2 week old Kat from Kunnunurra W.A. to Darwin N.T. in early 80's, about 1800 klms return, swore I never would ride another again (and never did) it was an absolute shocker- rock hard bone jarring back aching wrist snapping pig. now I'd own one if had the coin, local one immac/original for sale at $4,500.00 0zzie bucks.
what about the baby crap Diamond Brown Z900A4, mate bought a new one painted it dark green in about 6 months caus we all laughted at him, have a guess what colour I'm painting my resto A4 yep Diamond baby crap Brown- Hench
