Z1000A1 re build
Ginger Bear, it is a great break, virtually everything now, shame the tank, panels and tailpiece were nicked but there you go, the rest is there. I am at a loss as to how the front end should look tho' I like the GSX1400 rear end but am not so sure about the front, I like the look of the "upside down" fork sets, will have to see what comes up nearer the time!

Tread carefully with upside down forks, they're usually quite short, which will cause all sorts of problems..... You can read all about mine in my 'Z1000 Money Muncher' thread.
I was reliably informed by Zed1015 that ZX9R(B) forks are the longest Kawasaki made. I have also believe early GSXR1100 forks are long enough as well.
Do a bit of research first...... It will save you £££££££'s in the long run.

Upside down forks
Ginger Bear, thanks for the advice, I will have another look at your moneymuncher thread way before I invest and the ZX9R and GSXR info is invaluable, I don't have a pot to spend so I will have to be very careful where it goes, but the good side is there is no time limit so I can take my time researching! Thanks again!!!

Is this What I think it is?
So here are some photos you did not expect yet! Anyone give me a difinitive on what this is off please? I believe (fingers crossed) it is from a thou but it may just be a 900?
