Stevie my only experience of Electrexworld was with a new alternator winding for the TDR about a year ago it's been fine. I would have thought if serial replacements were a common fault that word would have got out. Pain in the ass. Is yours a Z1000A1 if so I can lend you one to try that was working last time it was used for eliminaton purposes.

bike sorted :D I WILL MAKE THIS CLEAR. THE PRODUCT I GOT FROM ELETRICWORLD WAS NOT TO BLAME! THE GUY I TALKED TO WAS VERY HELPFUL. the problem lay in rotor rubbing against windings, caused because by my own fault  i had a short spill before i striped the bike on left side. this left some scores on alternator cover, got them alloy welded .the heat caused the cover to warp just enough to put windings out of line against rotor. got a lone of rotor and windings checked shaft was ok and hey presto every thing is fine. correct voltage readings before and after a test ride  so its another rotor and alternator on shopping list  YES I AM EMBARRASSED BEING A FABRACTOR/WELDER. BUT WILL STRESS AGAIN ELETRICWORLD PRODUCT WAS NOT TO BLAME! also thank you chris for your help mutch appreciated. KEEP HER LIT.
