Electrical Gremlins Z1A

#1 PostAuthor: Bruce Sexton » Mon Jun 08, 2009 12:18 pm

Help needed on this one.
This is strange, any working ok for many years the stop warning light in the tacho has stopped working. I have checked the bulb thats ok, but I have voltage at the bulb holder when the brakes are off but not enough for the bulb and when the brake is applied I get zero volts at the bulb holder, I would have thought it should be the other way around? I have tried another bulb and the existing bulb works, so any ideas you guy's as electrics arn't my favourite.

Thanks

Bruce

Under the tank and connected to your wiring loom near the coils is an outage switch, well I think thats what the manual calls it(rubber block about 3 inches long with a small plug in connector). It will be that.
