Mikey,
I have an ultrasonic cleaner..... will only do one carb at a time, but they need to be completely stripped anyway.
If you strip 'em, I will dip 'em, FOC mate...... You've got nothing to lose.
I have always wondered if that replacement tank had some sort of overspray/contamination which may be causing you the grief you're having now.

could it be a dry solder joint somewhere or chaffed/broken wire. Have you checked all battery leads, mine was broken on ltd under red plastic

Mikey, is you problem at low mid or high revs, does it clear further up the revs or is it all the way through...will it rev when not under load (in neutral)

does it splutter till 3 or 4000 rpm then clear ?

Right through the rev range and it wont tick over, is it possible the dyna s pick ups on the end of the crank are packing up if so how do i test these, but in saying that there is a nice healthy spark at the plugs.

Would it be worth taking the dyna s off and putting conventional points set up on it even if just to rule out the dyna is at fault :?:
