Hate to quote me self, but mentioned this back in Feb........... However nobody likes a smart arse I know!!

TLC, Gunmetal would look cool, I use it on my frames....... It's like the 'new' black.

Your choice Zed1015. What colour do you plan to do the frame, or is that a whole new debate/decision :?

:? :? :? Frame is already black :? :? :? . Got a couple of ideas i've been mulling over for the bodywork. First is retro' Z' green'n'yellow racer stylee to tie in with yellow shock springs 'n' HT leads OR a bit of a twist on the Jim Goose machine with a "Team MFP Racing" theme. It's a bit of a loose link but why should Max have had all the fun with that blower on his car. Can't see why Jim shouldn't have had something to play with on his days off and it's the right year/model Z1000a.

Very nice but a bit too busy looking for me. There's enough going on with the rest of the bike so simple retro race paint is the order of the day i think. Two main base colours with a third in the pinstriping and maybe white number boards painted either side of the tail. Time will tell ?.

Oddly enough waiting for front sprocket too!! Spoke to Talon around the end of April who said it was all happening...... But wouldn't commit to a delivery date. Will hassle them again later this week.
Not seen Saxon or AC DC this time round, but did see Gary Moore this week........... What a miserable, ugly, talented self indulgent guitar genius he is, but I won't rush back to see him again :(

Ok, GB. You get your wish. Here's an unplanned instalment . The last time i was in the shed about a week ago i fitted the low profile filter cover and after a swift once over filled her up with fresh engine oil. Last night i had to go to the shed and noticed a few drops of oil under the bike on the bike lift. I thought that it might be coming from the alternator grommet but on closer inspection it looked like it was weeping from the oil pump gallery plug behind the left hand lower engine mounting bolt. These are an interference fit and it should be impossible for oil to leak from there so i wiped it clean and left it overnight. I checked it again this morning and found that it was leaking "SH*T".

Here's a pic of a spare case with my fat finger pointing at the plugged drilling where mine is leaking.
