I like the paint its different and that exhaust is only noisy when he winds it up in tunnels   So if Chris stays out of tunnels ans keeps the revs down its quiet  ISH :!:

I've defo got a road baffle, jest taken it outta my 'arris. The Old Gurl not only soundz great but actually runs better :D

If your race baffle hasn't been wadded it will be stupidly loud. Take it out and wrap fibreglass loft insulation around the perforated tube and then re-insert it. It is still throaty but not offensively loud; they always pass the MOT at my locla MOT centre with comp baffles (on classic bikes :D ). I passed a number of pigs on the way to the Ace and got no grief so it can't be that loud. You must use the proper fibreglass insulation as there is some recycled stuff out there now, which is basically plastic which will make a nasty mess of yer can

I'm so chuffed with my new baffle I wont be returning to the soft side so if you want it, you're welcome to it :D

had the end cap off today. Looks like it can be wadded quite a bit more so I'm going to try that first.

Thanks for the offers of baffles - lets see how we go.

Hi Chris

I have now found the offending baffle.

The Old Gurl passed her MOT today complete with race baffle and the tester commented on how gorgeous she sounded ... I had to agree  Oddly I seem to be getting more miles to the gallon as well :??

If you really wanna restrict the breathing of your Zed and ruin that gorgeous symphony let me know - I certainly don't want it  The Old Gurl has been improved in every direction by the baffle change :D

If you're going to our meeting on Sunday I'll strap the offending article to the bike  If not I'll post it :D
