I had a couple of hours in the shed thismorning and cobbled the start of another project! Im going to fit a zx7r swingarm and 6inch wheel,so dont worry about the arm thats in!
The forks,i think are kawasaki, the engine a gsxr750,frame z1000j,tank z1,seat shortened z650,i think, tailpiece z650,to be changed for a z900,sidepanels,if fitted will be z900. The exhaust can is in the position i'd like to be when finished.

Gonna be a full time job following your projects Dixie!
Looks good, just wondering if you have some German blood in you, looking at that exhaust!

Full time job,you say, that sounds like a good idea,as i get made redundent very soon!(but not soon enough!). I bought a gsx600f yesterday,so a new plan may be hatched, fit 600 everything into zed frame,engine,wiring,wheels,forks..... blast the frame, paint it black,do a new paintjob for the panels.mot it and sell it! Hopefully ready for the start of the summer weather, just not sure which year yet?

Blimey, looked what popped thru the letterbox today(another blumming zed frame!),i forgot i had bid on ebay, and next thing,i got a reminder to pay for the frame! Another project! I bought a (whispers)gsx600f teapot monstrosity of a very friendly steve w,from here,so this will be its new home,(engine ,wiring, stainless exhaust, forks, wheels swingarm and probably a few bits more). Cheap project,my fave kind!
