Shaft Drive Question
I've disconnected the shaft drive by undoing the flange at each end (4 allen bolts on crancase and 4 nuts on rear drive unit, how do I separate the bevel gear at the front? I want to remove the shaft from out of the swingarm as frame etc is to be powdercoated.. Clymer manual states pushing in a lock pin at the front? I've tried pushing this and I'm blowed if I can get anything to budge. Only other way I can see is undoing the circlip at the other end, very very fiddley as it's in very deep and I doubt you'd ever get it back in if I did it this way. Many thanks in advance.....
