I got odd caps in my z1r. Nothing a bit of plastigauge, a surface plate and a handfull of spare caps couldn't sort out. P.s. Jerry - You can use any caps even 1000j and gpz11. They all take the same shells, just that the later ones are a cast in a different smoother external design without the ridges of the earlier ones.
