Hi guys
wondered if any of you have used that epoxy stuff for tank repair? Is there a better brand etc to go for and is it very difficult?
I dont even think the tank from my spare paint set has a leak but while it is off and dry, im thinking this is probably a good time to protect it etc.
Also, when it comes to decals for the A4 tank. Were is a good place to go for them?

Bakey, if your tank isn't leaking or it hasn't weak spots due to rust, my advice is don't use these tank lining epoxies. Whereas, there are good products on the market "If it ain't broke, don't fix it'. I've seen some tanks with the lining lifted and that is a mess.

bakey I'm about to use that epoxy stuff, i think halfords do it, cos my tank has a tiny hole (not visible) where the plate for the fuel sender unit fits to the tank. I'll let you know how i get on. i also flushed/cleaned it with that Frosts kit Kwackerz1 and KZCol mention and it came up pretty good. Didn't use the sealant though because i just wanted to remove the gunk and old fuel. maybe i should have
