handelbar switches z1000 z900 the same?

Hi all,
I need a right hand handelbar switch,as its a bit naff, and want a new one , and looking on z power, they list a z900 one, and wondered if they are the same for the z1000, they look the same, any info much appriciated....

1000 wiring exits slightly differently to 900 from the housing due to the wiring running through the handlebars.

Same switch but might have slightly different termination. The 1000 is all bullet and I think 900 has a multiblock ?

z1000A handlebar

Hi, have the pics of the original handlebars of the z1000.
Tried to attach/ insert but doing something wrong. Need some help here. Further, if you wish, got some pictures from the inside wiring of both handlebars, made during restauration.

Z900 is def multiblock, just replaced mine with new from z-power.

Hi all,
you probably right, I have a look later, if so, no probs, I have located some japanese bullet connectors, so just a matter of changing the ends, some privious owner did the left side, but they cut the wires near the switch end rather than inside the h/light bowl,
