And then decided to mark centre line of tank, weld up original tank filler, recut a new hole to sink suzi panel into, and flush weld, grind and smooth. I havent transfered pics to pc yet,so in the mean time another pic of (one of my projects)(not very good pics).

Dixie, a couple of things; did you do all this 5 years ago?
Why do you have a Harley badge on the side of your Z1R tank?

Lol,i bought the Z1r tank a couple of years ago,at stormin the castle, and it came fitted with hardley davidson badges, dont know why, someone with a sense of humour,me thinks. I may have been time travelling or more likely, dont know how to set the camera? The filler has gone in central, pics hopefully tomorrow if i get time? I also at the weekend bought me some 2pack kawasaki green paint,i keep taking the lid off the tin and looking in,I love that colour! Heres a question,if anyone cares to respond,on the z1000r,i plan to paint one set of bodywork lime green, but the spare set is going to go either white (ala pigfords bike),or standard Gpz 1100 b1 colours, what do you's think will be best, red or white????
Red one and a white one.
