Ok just to refresh your memory (and mine)
I bought this Desert Rat a few years ago like this, So far all i have done is have the engine completly rebuilt by Iain Marshall (Thanks Iain) having got all of the guniune Kawasaki internal parts from George in Japan (Thanks to George also)
Iain has got the engine back to me recently so all i need to do now is fit the carbs and a few other pieces and hopefully get her registered and on the road,
Most everything on the bike is original 72, i've not even cleaned the bike in the 5 years or so i have it, it's still got plenty of red Utah desert sand in every nook and cranny, I'm intending to use it for a few years as it is now and when the time come i'll do a frame up resto on it but for now i'll enjoy her..

I had a few visitors at the weekend and made good use of them!! Iain and Fer arrived on saturday and got stuck into the Desert Rat, she's up and running for the first time in 25Yrs,
So a huge thanks to the lads for comming over and sorting things out and a big thanks to Iain for the nut and bolt rebuild.
