Just trying to find out where to purchase engine dampers.
Also need to see a schematic for the front lower engine mount as what came out was not correct(stud and lots of washers)
Help please

Chris,I've got a well used Genuine Kawasaki workshop manual if you'd like to borrow it ??
Speak to Big Phil at Z-POWER regarding the crankcase rubbers and he might also be able to email you a schematic of the engine mountings.
If not I've got an original parts manual and can get the pages you need copied and sent down to you.

Good to see you back on Chris.
As mentioned before i also have both manuals but perhaps more importantly i have still got the bottom end in my frame with dampers, washers, spacers, studs, bits and bobs still attached as was originally intended.
I'm three miles down the road from you and you would be more than welcome to look, furtle, photograph and or sketch the layout if you wish.
I can run you off a copy of the manual onto DVD also if you need one.
Let me know what you think.

No disrespect to you offer Jack as i did this to you before. Not try to top your offer just seemed to make more sense to shop locally if you see what i mean.
P.S mines a J1 (should be the same)

Chris, I have just brought a set of dampers from my local Kwak shop for my R1, which I think is the same engine as yours, not to expensive either. They have to fitted with 8mm of the damper protruding from the engine case, I found that using washing up liquid makes them easy to push in. The round dampers are then glued to the sticky out bit.
Let me know if you need any photo's.

Once I had posted my question I went on ebay and there were 2 lower mounts for sale so I had them and a microfiche as well.
Went on bike bandits site who sent me to kawasaki.com who let you print all schematics for all bikes brilliant.
Panic over
THANKS ALL.
