CB and myself will be there. ... on our Yamahas - roads still not clean enough for Zeds

Also Jack and Tim who are both serious Zedists, though they'll be in cars

Ralph,

You n' CB gonna be there Sat or Sun? I was plannin' to go Sat, but now have to work part of it, so will probably take the ''Harley'' (you know what I mean) down on Sunday. Be good to share a brew/pint if you're there.

Steve.f

As you already know, it's not the most ''rivetting'' show & I wouldn't travel too far to see it :!: So maybe not see you this time.

When CB has cooked the breakfast we'll be riding on over :D

I don't mind looking at British bikes, I think they're great, and if the prices weren't sooooo silly I'd buy a T140 to restore. If I could only have one bike, as in my youth, there's no way it would be old Brit iron, but that doesn't detract from the inate beauty of them.

GB if you're passing Pensford gis a tinkle 07768 737037, you could call in fer a cuppa :D

Same number if anyone wants to say hello at the show - assuming Vodafone works there with my crap phone

Good show at the 'Bath & West' Classic Bike Show in Somerset

Met up with Ralphy & CB, and Jack & Tim. Wandered off after a while & meet my neighbour & another pal......

Couple of nice Kwaks....... Just like me old Z1A...

Image

This A4 was nigh on totally original apart from replacement pipes...

& this '79 ST was up for £1950.....

Nice ride there & back on the DR600..... :P
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Good show.

Nice to see Mark, though he did look very uncomfortable around the hog roast van

Bumped into load of old bike mates, spent plenty of wedge on bike tools. Got a brake caliper piston removal tool for £65 which was less than half what they wanted at the Trade Expo for the same make :D :D As usual the metal stock was way over priced as were the stainless fixings. I always buy my stainless and ally stock from the scrapper, much cheaper :D

There was a nice Triumph 955i Sprint ST for sale ... only £1295 !!! I was tempted, but resisted as CB pointed out that I do already have one, but it could have been an earner I suppose :?? I'm not good at buying and selling ... as soon as title is mine, the value usually halves :(

There was a really nice Harris Magnum 2 there, with Z1R motor in it. The female owner is a member of the VJMC but not the Z1OC. I gave her and hubby our web address and hope they join us. I'll post pix tomorrow when I get home - camera docking thang is at home.

CB and myself enjoyed riding our Yams. :D

Good to meet you too Mikey,
Found this after I met you,
Image
thought it might help Piggy with his starting problems :!:
Talking of Piggy, I stopped of here
Image
to be told that there was a bloke there on Saturday that became a bit ''hot & bothered'' as he past.
Any how, glad I went, it's three years since I last went & will probably be another three before I go again. The british stuff doesn't really do it for me, but..............

I did like this :!:
