I had a set restored by you know who in the states and was realy dissapointed, the glasses missed up and the speedo and taco needles worked like shakey window wipers. this of course may have been a one off. He did offer to supply another set but I flogged these on ebay and got a chris set which were A1.

i believe they all mean Bob Harrington. i had email correspondence with him and he's not sure about the damping fluid [big secret]. looks like he does a fair job on the faces though. he told me, if my needles were bouncing, he would swap the mechanism for another secondhand mechanism. but i thought i could soon be back to square one :cry: im waiting for mr rivit to have a heart for all us zed freaks. :wink:

It's just that i HATE doing them - but I have a new apprentice (O.K. so he's 45 years old) that I am showing the ropes to :wink: We are well on the way to cracking the dampening problem (in fact a lot of the problems are not the dampening but the spindles and bushes wearing).
