Dougie..... what you want....... how to fit lines... or mount cooler or what...

If its just connecting the cooler.... you need to swap the standard oil switch unit (rear of barrels under the middle carbs).... & fit a modified pair of take-offs...... :|

Then you just run the s/s braided pipe to the cooler.....

Doesn't matter which way it flows to/from cooler, just make sure you mount it with the cooler connections facing UP

I have a complete oil cooler set up if you're after one...

Just how efficient are oil coolers for the Z engines?

Coolers are very good... depending on size

Can be a bit of an overkill depending on engine state

My black Zed was running real hot without one tho :!:

Pigford,
Obviously Dougie has first dibs, but what do you want of the oil cooler setup as I will be looking for one soon.

What make is the cooler?
What size is it ?
Goodridges?
Does it run around the block or over the top?

PM Me with a price if you like, if Dougie's not interested.

TLC, actually those 'dodgy' hose fitting are a bugger, mainly 'coz of the opposite factor...

They crimp the rubber onto the spigot & usually have to be cut off, they seem to 'weld' themselves to the brass
