#19 PostAuthor: Magnum1 » Sun Dec 07, 2008 2:27 pm

I like that pipe, looks like a harris, but better made. Are the headers fixed to the collector, or floppy abouty with springs an all that  ?

The exhaust craft exhaust is very well made. There is no need for springs as it is a perfect fit. I just put a bit of gun gum (exhaust sealer ) around the pipes. No blowing or anything :)

Thanks mate :)

Just having problem with the battery not charging at the moment.
I was hopeing to have got to the paint stage by now but I have had to work my way through all the wireing problems that the previous owner has left me :(

The stepped top yoke was from Mike at full metal ornament http://www.fullmetalornament.com/

I am very happy with the fit he also made a bracket for the speedo/ tacho. He's a top bloke

Sorted the battery charging problem today. A few days ago I tested the regulator/rectifier for its resistance and there was a problem with it.

I got a second hand one off ebay for 15 quid delivered :D

Next i am going to get the brakes on and measure up for the lines

I hope some of you guys with bikes that qualify for membership to this club don,t mind me posting this project up on here.

As an aside the engine in this unitrack is actually from a B2, so i have half a bike that qualifies :)

That makes it a B2 engined special so the whole thing qualifies. Unitrack GPZs are unofficial bastard half cousins anyway much like Z650s.
In the Valley of the Pissed the half cut man is King
