after changing cranks(z9 bottom end,later crank?)..........is it just the oil seal in the ignition housing or a differant housing all-together that stopping it fittitng over the said crank :| ie can i change the dimensions of the oil seal within the housing for it to fit?

whats with the -3 and -4 on the reverse of them? (on the two i've got? model id?)

What crank have you got in it? If it's a hy-vo chain crank you will need a different cover. If you are running Dyna, Fer can tell you which one to look out for.

Later cranks need a bigger oil seal and there isn't enough metal in an old casing to fit newer oil seal . Just get a newer casing .
