You can get the selector forks in after putting the cases together, saves farting about lining things up :D

Hmmmmmm, yeah, but the "farting about" bit is good coz it leads to achievement against the odds...and finally "self-satisfaction"

But  I'll bare it in mind for next time

Mrs P even let me do it in the front room....

Fitted the new oil seals x3 to the sprocket casing tonite and whacked that back on :P

Also fitted the APE heavy duty studs

Greg it was off a Z1000J  So It'll be just right for me Lawson...

I've got a JMC concentric arm at the moment, but I intent to run this bike down the strip too, so that extra few inches will make all the difference

I also have a spare set of Gixxer wheels (120 x17 & 180 x 17) :P

Hey Jack-m-Lad... :crnk

Well..... its been one of those days.....

Thought I'd pop out to the garage for an hour & whack me short engine back in the Lawson frame......

OK for a one man job - frames still tatty so don't have to go too careful

Anyhow...... after 1/2 hour things were not going as planned...

Got rear mount in & the front lot were well "squiffy"... Had to use a broom handle to gently persuade the front bottom to line up... :??

Feck.... this bike is a real Munter.... The feckin' frames twisted

Image

Notice the "fine-adjustment" tool on the right

After another 1/2 hour of "pushing & pulling"....NO JOY.... I decided to do the proper thing... CUPPA TEA & a BISCUIT (loads of them special Chocky Xmas ones laying about).

Back in the garage I had another 15mins struggling... then... EUREKA :P

Problem solved....

Only had the rear spacers arse about face...... :|
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
