Could any body tell me what the thread size and pitch for the rear footrests should be on my z900 a4.

Hi Steve,im sure its M10 by 1.25MM pitch

Sorry DaveLTD, the Z900A4, like all earlier Z's have pillion brackets, complete with lock-nut with a thread 12M x 1.25 pitch. [That is if rear foot-pegs are in fact pillion pegs.] I know because I've just finished tapping the frame out, after powder-coating, to take some recently zinc plated pillion brackets.

The thread on the shafts supporting the main foot-rest bracket is probably 10M x 1.25 pitch.
