bit more fettling today.
Removed totally crap (read semi broken) wiring to coils and replaced with new japanses spec connectors.
remounted coils and removed the ballast resistor which you DO NOT NEED if you've got 3 ohm dyna coils.
spark not much bigger.
Also did some other wiring repairs replacing some grotty preinsulated connects which literally fell off when pulled.
Must remember to pick up the injectors tomorrow.

I'd also like to say thanks for encouragement and advice from the guys on here and also Jeff at Z1enterprises and Jim at Redline Cycles - if you've got problems with an early FI bike he is the man.
oh and before anyone says anything when they see the video I know it looks like a minger.
